Home with the Eastons - Aura Lake

In the last issue of the Pirri Beach news we promised you a home story of young Mr. John Easton and his neighbours, the Watsons. We gave our very best to get this story...and what a surprise awaits you! Well, I took the long drive to Aura Lake. It had been snowing for days over there but finally I reached the little village down the lake. What you see in the first picture is the little house of the Eastons, called 'Founder's home'...

Standing on the doorstep I turned around and took this picture of the small village. As you can see there's not much there. A small church, a few cabins...and that's about it. You start to wonder why a rich heir like John Easton would choose Aura Lake of all places to start a family...

When I rang the doorbell an agitated Mr. Easton opened. "Dr. Watson? Oh no...where's the doctor?"...

He invited me in and it turned out his young wife had gone into labour this exact morning!

They were waiting for the doctor but he never arrived, probably because of the snow. Mrs. Easton sat on the bed, clearly in pain but Mr. Easton and I tried to stay calm and encourage her to breathe properly.

Suddenly Mrs. Easton jumped from the bed and even I began to hope the doctor would arrive very, very soon!

She kept clutching her stomach and huffing and groaning like crazy. Then she knelt back down on the bed and before we could do anything, delivered a screaming little Sim to the world! A girl! I had the honour to cut the cord and after that Mr. Easton took the little girl to the bathroom, washed and dressed her and presented her to his wife and myself.

Please welcome Ms. Leonor Easton. Isn't she a beauty? Well that was an uncalled for highlight that made the rest of the whole story pale in comparison so I decided to drop it and have this exciting birth story for you instead. I hope you agree.

It was already late when I was ready to cross the road and visit the Watsons next door. Their cabin is even smaller than the Easton's but I was welcomed warmly and got some pancakes and hot chocolate despite my being late.

It seems Mr. and Mrs. Watson are very happy to live in Aura Lake but when I saw Mrs. Watson's rounded belly I told them I was already late before Editorial final and left before they had a chance to surprise me with another birth!

Samuel Easton

Samuel is the latest addition to the Easton clan and son of Sean Easton and wife Kayla (n.e. Limburgh). Looking almost completely like his father he spent his baby days bonding with the close and distant family and enchanted everyone with his lovely smile.

Now that he has turned to a toddler, Sam is still charming but also shows some seriousness not expected in a very small child. His parents hope to prepare him well for adult life and the possible taking over of the family business.

Death announcement - R.I.P Mr. Miron Easton

Mr. Miron Easton went to the eternal party in SimHeaven on the first day of fall. His son John has taken over the family business. The family is in deep grief for Miron's death though rumour has it that his wife Stefanie is already involved with another man...

He's leaving behind wife Stefanie and children Mary, John and Eva.

R.I.P. Mr. Miron Easton.

Eva Easton

Little Eva is the sunshine of her family. After the family had moved to a bigger house by the shores she was born in a very short and painless homebirth. While she was and is easy to care for, she was also often overlooked because of the cranky little guy that is raised alongside, Gavin.
She doesn't seem to mind though, there's enough older siblings to help take care of her and she's content with cuddling the family cat Bella when noone else is around.

Right after her birthday she found herself a new hobby and refers to it as 'The Beach'. She's doing everything that can be done there anytime. Building sandcastles, sunbathing, swimming...that's her life right now. Miron and Stefanie wonder when she'll start to realize her future lies in homemaking and having babies...it's still time.

John Easton

John was born while the family was residing in the old Easton's house. They had to move in with Mirons father after the death of his beloved wife Grace because Harold was afraid he might die, too and leave little Sean withour someone to care for him. Not long after the move Harold's fear became reality but Miron and Stefanie helped Sean cope. John grew into the family naturally and Miron hopes for him to once take over the Easton's family business.

When he was a child it showed that John had inherited his mother's sensitive skin. Sunbathing is just not for him despite his black hair. He spent most of his childhood days sunburnt.

Now that he's a teenager he faces the fact that he's the current 'Most wanted' in the neighbourhood. Every girl falls over herself to connect with him and probably be chosen as the first wife of young Mr. Easton. How that affects his quiet and happy character is not yet known.

Mary Easton

Mary was born to Stefanie and Miron Easton in fall of Year One after the opening of Pirri Beach.
She was a happy little baby and loved nothing more than cuddling with her family.


As a toddler it became clear she had a calm temper and a love for the home that just keeps the family together. Miron was excited and instructed Stefanie to teach her everything about homemaking.

Mary loves good food and started to read books about cooking as soon as she learned how to read. The family hopes to marry her off as a first wife one day and Mary herself wants nothing more than two or three children for herself.

While she's waiting for her own 'Mr. Three Bolts' and her own kids, she's loving the family cat Bella to death. Of course she won't attend college as it's not needed for a future homemaker.

Sean Easton

Sean is an orphan of Simrish descent. His parents died in a boat accident on their way from Simreland to Simerica and he was rescued and put in an orphanage as a child. That's where old 'Mama' Easton found him and convinced Harold to adopt Sean. He adjusted well to his new surroundings and everybody is amazed at the fact he's sporting the typical 'Easton nose' without having any biological connection to the family!

Right now he's attending Vezz island college and lives in the famous Easton dormitory, donated by his family. He wants to graduate in biology to become a teacher but Miron thinks Sean will be forced to run the family business until John is old enough to take over. He has a major crush on Kayla Limburgh and Miron already approved of an engagement. Sean will have to chose at least another wife though and as he's madly in love with Kayla has a hard time deciding.

Stefanie Easton

Stefanie Easton came to Pirri Beach for journalistic reasons. She wanted to write an essay about secluded modern society but underestimated the power of finding 'Mr. Three Bolts'. When she first met Miron Easton it was love at first sight and he soon moved in to her little apartment on high street. Of course she already knew his parents and adopted brother from the immigration tests and despite her journalistic reservation liked especially 'Mama' a lot.

Harold Easton approved and soon after Stefanie and Miron got married in the first Eastonic church of Vezz island. She's his husband's only wife and appreciates the fact very much.

As of now Stefanie gave birth to three kids (Mary, John, Eva) and helped raise Mirons adopted brother Sean and little Gavin Valon and is the current 'Mama' of the Easton family.

Miron Easton

Miron is the only biological son of the Eastons. His one and only true wish in life is to follow his father's footsteps in the criminal track and become the sufficient heir to the family business. That's where he put all his effort.

He married Stefanie (carefully chosen by his father Harold), the first Sim that moved to Pirri Beach after the opening. His family means a lot to him and all in all Miron and Stefanie have raised five children by now. That's his adopted brother Sean, their biological children Mary, John and Eva and Gavin Valon, a child of the Valonic priestess Aurora Valon and an unknown father.

Now in his elder days Miron still works his career though he reached the top of it (and platinum aspiration) on the day before his transition. Little John is still too young to follow his father's footsteps and somehow Miron now understands his parent's decision to adopt another boy in their elder days. Sean is at Vezz Island college at the moment but Miron calls him everyday to instruct him to the Easton business and hopes he'll graduate before the Grim Reaper comes to invite him (Miron) to the eternal party in heaven.

Grace 'Mama' Easton

Grace Easton was raised in Central Simerica and stems from a very wealthy, cultivated family. Her only goal in life was to marry big and underline that marriage with at least one son to cultivate her own wealth. Her dreams came true when her father arranged a meeting with the son of the Easton family from Vezz Island, Harold. They had roughly the same goals and everything worked out fine. Grace, called 'Mama' by nearly everyone on Vezz Island, never meddled in her husband's business but became a premium homemaker until her death by old age.

She had one natural son, Miron and late in her life, suffering from empty nest syndrome, adopted another son, Sean.

Her sons were devastated to let patent 'Mama' go with Grimmy but her heritage lives on in the wife and future wives of the boys.

Harold Easton

Harold Easton was the head of the family for almost his whole life as his own father died young, due to an 'accident' at work. The Eastons work the politics of Vezz Island but not from an official position. As a long time criminal mastermind (though he looks nothing like it), Harold knew where to blackmail politicians, where to bribe, just all around what to do to get what he wanted. And he did. His and his forefathers efforts resulted in a deserted Vezz Island, only inhabited by Eastons.
Then, after marrying Grace, Harold realized a deserted Island meant sending each and every one of their kids away to find a spouse and that didn't appeal to him, so he opened up Pirri Beach but always had a close eye on everyone that immigrated into his little 'kingdom'.
After his death his son Miron has taken over family business.

The Eastons

The Eastons are THE founding family of Pirri Beach. Their family history is briefly described as 'reigning in glory' from the outside. From the inside, things look a little different...but let's take this step by step, starting from the generation of Eastons that opened up Pirri Beach to other families.
